1. Subject of the contract
These General Terms govern the contracting of the bicycle rental service provided by David Javier Pintado Laruelo (hereinafter, "the company") on the Senda del Oso, Asturias, Spain, under the trade name La Senda del Oso en Bici.
The service includes the temporary use of bicycles and complementary equipment (helmets, tool kits, maps), as well as the return transfer from the arrival point (Buyera) to the departure point (Entrago), under the conditions detailed in each booking.
2. Booking process
2.1 Booking channels

2.2 Booking confirmation
The booking is confirmed when the customer receives confirmation from the company (by email, WhatsApp or in person). The company reserves the right to reject a booking due to lack of availability or other justified causes.
Bookings are handled on a strict first-come, first-served basis. The availability shown on the website is indicative and may vary until final confirmation.
3. Prices and rates
Current prices are those published in the Prices section of this website. Prices are expressed in euros (EUR) and include applicable VAT.
The company reserves the right to modify rates without prior notice. The price that applies is the one in force at the time of booking confirmation.
3.1 What the price includes
- Bicycle of the type booked for the contracted period
- Certified helmet per person
- Accident and public liability insurance
- Route map
- Return transfer from Buyera (according to published schedule)
- Technical assistance on the route
Any additional service not included in the rate will be billed separately and will require prior agreement.
4. Payment
Payment for the service is made at the time of picking up the bicycles at our premises, unless another procedure is agreed in the booking confirmation.
The following payment methods are accepted:
- Cash (euros)
- Credit/debit card (Visa, Mastercard)
- Bizum
- Prior bank transfer (for groups and advance bookings)
For group bookings or advance bookings, a deposit may be required to guarantee availability. This amount will be detailed in the booking confirmation.
5. Cancellations and modifications
5.1 Cancellation by the customer
- More than 24 hours in advance: Free cancellation. Any deposit paid is refunded in full.
- Less than 24 hours in advance or no-show: The company may retain the deposit paid as compensation for the unused booking.
To cancel a booking, contact us by phone, WhatsApp or email indicating the name and date of the booking.
5.2 Booking modification
Changes to the date, time or number of participants are subject to availability and must be requested at least 24 hours in advance. The company does not guarantee availability for the new date or configuration requested.
5.3 Cancellation by the company
The company may cancel or modify a booking in the following cases:
- Adverse weather conditions that make the activity unfeasible or dangerous
- Force majeure (see clause 8)
- Exceptional circumstances that prevent the provision of the service
In the event of cancellation by the company, the customer will be offered the possibility of changing the date or, failing that, a full refund of the amounts paid.
6. Customer obligations
The customer undertakes to:
- Provide truthful information about the number of participants, ages and any special needs.
- Attend the pick-up point at the agreed time. Delays of more than 30 minutes may result in cancellation of the booking without the right to a refund, except for justified reasons.
- Make proper use of the bicycles and equipment provided, respecting the staff's instructions.
- Respect the traffic rules and use of the greenway.
- Return the equipment in the condition in which it was delivered. Damage due to negligent or improper use will be charged to the customer.
- Not assign the use of the bicycles to third parties not included in the booking.
- Wear the helmet throughout the activity (mandatory for minors).
7. Liability
7.1 Company liability
The company guarantees that the bicycles and equipment are delivered in proper working order and with maintenance checks up to date. The accident insurance included covers personal injuries suffered by participants during the activity, within the terms and limits of the contracted policy.
The company's liability does not extend to damages caused by improper use of the equipment, non-compliance with staff instructions or failure to comply with traffic rules by the customer.
7.2 Customer liability
The customer is liable for damage caused to the rented equipment due to incorrect or negligent use. Minors must be accompanied at all times by a responsible adult.
8. Force majeure
The company shall not be liable for delays, modifications or inability to provide the service caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to: extreme weather events, infrastructure outages, health emergencies, acts of public authority, labour disputes or any other force majeure or fortuitous event.
In these cases, the company will offer reasonable alternatives or, if not possible, a refund of amounts paid.
9. Data protection
The personal data provided in the booking process will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

If you do not obtain a satisfactory response, you may contact the Asturias Consumer Arbitration Board or the competent Courts and Tribunals of Oviedo, Asturias.
11. Applicable law and jurisdiction
These General Terms are governed by current Spanish legislation. For the resolution of any dispute arising from their interpretation or compliance, the parties submit to the Courts and Tribunals of Oviedo (Asturias, Spain), expressly waiving any other jurisdiction that may correspond to them.
12. Modifications
The company reserves the right to modify these General Terms at any time. Modifications will be published on this website and will come into force from the moment of their publication. The version in force at the time of booking is the one that applies to each contract.
