Frequently Asked Questions
Is the route difficult?
No, it's easy and suitable for all levels. Most of the route is downhill and requires no previous experience.
Can you do it with children?
Yes, it's ideal for families. We have baby seats, trailers and children's bikes by age.
What if it rains?
You can cancel or change the date without any problem. We'll let you know if the weather isn't on your side.
Where can we eat?
In Proaza, near the end of the route, there are several bars and restaurants. Also in Valdemurio if you do the full route.
What should I wear?
Comfortable clothing and sports footwear. In spring and autumn we recommend an extra layer for the tunnels.
Is it easy to get lost?
No. The route is perfectly signposted and we give you a map. It's also paved and impossible to get lost.
Where are the bears?
At the end of the route, near Buyera, there's an enclosure with rescued Asturian brown bears. It's one of the highlights of the journey.
Do I need to pay in advance?
No. Payment is made when you collect the bikes at our facility in Entrago.
Is there parking?
Yes, we have free parking at our facility in Entrago.
